    Interdisciplinary approach

PhD supervisors are outstanding scientists from partner organisations, with a profound expertise and experience in the thematic areas of PhD studies (Cancer/Mutagenesis, Cardiovascular diseases, Diabetes/Obesity, Metabolic diseases, Neurodegenerative diseases, Regenerative medicine in lifestyle diseases, Molecular Biology, Genomics, Protein Analysis and Proteomics, Metabolomics/Lipidomics, Immunology). Education of ESRs will be focused on the technology and biomedical knowledge necessary for biomarkers research, specifically the fundamentals of biostatistics and bioinformatics. ESRs will participate in courses devoted to such topics as metabolomics, genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, biostatistics, and bioinformatics. Because there is a shortage of experts in these fields in Poland, courses will be taught by visiting professors from global OMICS leaders. ESRs will practice at domestic and foreign academic centres specializing in oncology, cardiology, metabolic diseases, neurodegenerative disorders, regenerative medicine, molecular biology, genetics, and proteomics.
