The Visual Identity System of the Medical University of Bialystok (VIS) is a detailed description of the procedures and graphic symbols used at the University.
The aim of the VIS is to ensure a consistent, recognisable and professional image of the Medical University of Bialystok in all areas of communication, both internal and external.
All materials contained in the Brand Book must be used in accordance with the guidelines presented herein, without introducing modifications that could compromise the integrity of the logo or weaken the impact of the University’s visual message. This website, together with its attachments, is the official source of identification materials of the Medical University of Bialystok.
Adhering to the rules set out in the Brand Book ensures a coherent image of the Medical University of Bialystok, strengthening its recognisability, prestige, and visual communication in line with the University’s values and mission.
Detailed guidelines, including instructions on how to use the logo and other VIS elements, can be found in the Brand Book.

KEY VISUAL
The key visual of the visual identity system is a linear illustration of the Branicki Palace in Bialystok - the university’s headquarters. This element emphasises the University's connection with its historical heritage and location. The key visual is intended for use across both print and digital media, including presentations, brochures, posters, document templates, online banners, and promotional materials.

COLOUR PALETTE

The colour palette is a key component of the visual identity system. The primary colours define the institution’s official image and should be used consistently across all materials.
TYPOGRAPHY
The primary typeface used in all promotional materials and official publications is Encode Sans Narrow– a modern, sans-serif font with a condensed structure.
For office use, in internally generated documents, the recommended complementary typeface is Aptos – a system font included with Microsoft Office since 2023. It features a clean, modern appearance and pairs well with the primary typeface.
Both fonts are free to use, legally unrestricted, and suitable for institutional purposes.
